The ASTM B127 UNS N04400 is a copper-nickel alloy that has added aluminum, molybdenum, columbium, titanium and iron in its chemical composition.The ASTM B127 UNS N04400 plates have high strength and good corrosion resistance properties.
They have good forability, weldability and are heat treatable.They show some great mechanical properties and are available in a variety of sizes.The UNS N04400 plates have a high tensile & yield strengths and come in different finishes (hot & cold rolled).
UNS N04400 material has a high melting point of 1350 °C, and thus, they are used for high temperature applications.The plates can be found in sulphuric and hydrofluoric acid alkylation plant.They are also used in feed water and steam generator tubing, pickling bat heating coils, etc.
